What is Extreme Kids?

Extreme Kidz is a new and different program for the kids of Wylie Baptist church. It combines the ideas of music, missions, Bible study and fun into an hour and fifteen minutes of high energy, totally focused, time with God. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of today's kids; helping them to be able to see God in their world. We focus on ideas that the kids will be able to take away and use in their daily lives.

Extreme Zone

Extreme Zone is part of our 1st-6th grade Extreme Kidz program that takes place in room 103. During this time, the kids work on music, choreography, play games and have a lot of crazy fun. This zone takes place each evening from 6:00-6:22 and again from 6:50-7:12. During our second time together, we take time to recap what the kids have learned during the evening and go over a brand new memory verse for the next week.

 

 

Explosion Groups

Explosion Groups are another part of our 1st-6th grade Extreme Kidz program. These are small groups broken down into 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and 5th & 6th grade. These classes meet in separate rooms for a time of Bible study that is prepared with their age group specifically in mind. During this time, the kids have opportunity to share their weekly memory verse with their Explosion group leaders and to receive all points that they have earned for the evening.

 

 

Preschool Extreme Kidz

Our preschool class meets each Wednesday from 6:00-7:15 p.m. in room 128. This class is for ages 3-Kindergarten. They have an exciting time filled with games, music, Bible stories, crafts, and snacks. These kids have a wonderful time just being kids and learning about Jesus all at the same time.
